Nicosia: Nicosia is the island’s capital, as well as the economic and business centre. Mix business and pleasure, shopping and dining out with horse racing and historic insight.
Limassol: As the island’s second largest city, Limassol promises a cosmopolitan scene with diverse prospects for shopping and dining out. Infinite stretches of sandy beach create a holidaymaker’s paradise, whilst the surrounding hillside villages are now very highly regarded among new residents.
Paphos: Paphos boasts a lively tourist area, but at the same time remains a favourite destination for families. Indeed the rising number of newcomers is testament to the appeal of the town and its suburbs, one of which, Kissonerga, is the location for a very impressive new marina. Paphos also offers a prolific number of interesting historical sites, such as the town’s ancient castle, Roman amphitheatre and mosaic site nestling the picturesque harbour, accompanied by the quaint winding streets of the old town.
Larnaca: Within easy driving distance of the Troodos mountains and Nicosia, Larnaca itself offers a pleasing blend of historic sites and modern amenities. The town also contains one of the island’s two international airports, which is currently undergoing expansion.
Agia Napa: Renowned as being the island’s party destination, Agia Napa offers a lively nightlife alongside fine white sandy beaches within close proximity to Larnaca international airport.
Polis: Famed as the rural retreat of the island, the allure of secluded beaches attracting a quieter crowd. Dominated by the mythological Akamas hills, the town itself is set around a picturesque pedestrianised square filled with shops, cafés, bars and restaurants. Latchi marina with its promenade of fish taverns is just a 10-minute drive away.
